What are your prices?

I have listed sales prices for past builds in the gallery to give you some idea. The design of a custom build could be similar or else as different as you want, so there is no way to provide an easy price list for every possible option. But I feel you—if I were shopping, I’d want an easy price list too!

How does the design process work?

We start with a free one-hour design session to figure out the basics of what you want. Additional design consultation is billable at $75/hour, but design fees will be waived if we proceed with a build contract. You will get an exact quote before you commit to the project.

How long will a custom build take?

Approximately six months.

Will you deliver the finished house to me?

I can make arrangements with professional haulers for you. Their fees are not included in my prices.

Do you offer NOAH certification or financing?

Not normally. I can arrange these in partnership with another company, but it would add significantly to your total cost.

What is the legality of having a tiny house on my property?

The answer to this is different in every city or county, so I am not able to advise you on this matter. Do your research. Enforcement can also be variable and many tiny house owners do not follow all the rules. Know what you are comfortable with.

What about utilities?

The houses shown on this site have been built to connect to electric power and a sewer or septic system. Prices do not include any utility work your site may need. If you plan to be off-grid, we can design for that as well.

I don’t need a tiny house on wheels, but can you make some part of my house look like that?

Manic Pixie Dream Contractor LLC is licensed/insured/bonded in Oregon (CCB#237947), so I can also give you a bid for remodeling work in the Portland metro area.
